Boschi 1961 Grand Cru Extra Virgin Olive OilThe Boschi family has been pressing olives at Frantoio Guglielmo di Malavalle, just outside Castiglione della Pescaia, since 1961. The mill is named for a medieval hermit who holed up in the valley below the groves and ended up the town's patron saint. Stefano Boschi runs the place now with his son Filippo. Grand Cru is their limited annual bottling. It's made from a trio of olives - Frantoio, fruity and peppery, Moraiolo for a bitter green edge, and Leccino to balance it all out. Hand-picked, cold-pressed at the family's own mill, lightly filtered, bottled fast.Ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil.Availability: Usually ships within 1 business days.
